Hello fellow namesakes, if you are looking for your predecessors then you have found a potentially useful site. This info has been researched and gleaned by my parents Jim & Alice and other UK “Clan” members that they have been in touch with.
I have not done any of the research, I have only pieced together the information that my parents had gathered, so if you feel there are errors please let me know. Similarly if you would like me to update with additional material I will be happy to do so.
At present this tree reflects my family tree and the other (Eaton) families that have provided most of the information. Which I believe they had traced back to the Isle of Sheppey.
I have deliberately omitted recent generations dates of birth but will consider reasonably genuine requests for that information.
As with this type of research much depends upon the interpretation and subsequent recording of the spoken word. Although Black is vocally, fairly consistent, Mur is very variable, to the point where it may obviously, not have been recorded as such.
