Clacton on Sea

Ian & Carole have finally retired from gardening after 50+yrs of toil. With the deaths of Ian’s parents in 2019 we decided to sell our Chilton home near Sudbury and move to Clacton, as the first phase of our retirement. Clacton was chosen as it’s where Carole’s mother lives and she has reached the age where she needs assistance with the daily chores and although that has been admirably dealt with by Carole’s sister Linda, our nearby presence was required. We managed to purchase a bungalow directly opposite theirs, so we are certainly nearby now.

Jamie has married a lovely lass by the name of Sarah and they have set up home together in a village close to Sudbury. Both are gamefully employed at local companies. The extra joy for Jamie is that as a single child he has gained siblings, as Sarah has a brother and sisters.
